AtEase is a Houston-based studio that builds AI agents, websites, mobile apps and SEO for small businesses across the US. It's run by founder Evan Thomas-Ba, who builds and ships the work directly, from AI receptionists and real estate websites to the Law Book attorney directory app.
Why AtEase exists.
AtEase is run by an operator who knows what it costs to do everything yourself. We've built and shipped real products. We've cold-called real customers. We've sat in real offices doing real outreach when the AI couldn't.
That's why our systems don't just look good in a demo. They work on a Tuesday at 2pm when a lead comes in and you're driving your kid to soccer.
We work with founders, solo operators, small teams and growing businesses anywhere in the US, and in person around Houston. AI-first, but never AI-only: every agent we build knows when to hand the conversation to a person.

Evan Thomas-Ba founded AtEase in Houston to give small businesses the kind of systems big companies have: a phone that always gets answered, leads that get a reply in a minute, and a website that actually brings in work.
Evan's shipped work includes Law Book, a free attorney directory app for iOS and Android, and custom real estate websites for Houston agents such as Gamble Realty Group. Evan also writes the AtEase guides on what websites, apps and AI receptionists really cost.
Every AtEase client works with Evan directly. There are no account managers in between.
