Privacy policy.
Effective . This policy covers atease.studio, the free AtEase account at my.atease.studio, and Sales AtEase at app.salesatease.com and demo.salesatease.com (together, "AtEase").
Who we are
AtEase is a brand of ETB Enterprises LLC, a Texas company based in Houston ("AtEase," "we," "us"). Questions about this policy: evan@atease.studio.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account and the products you use.
- We don't sell personal information, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers in the AtEase app.
- The customer data you put into AtEase belongs to you. We process it on your behalf and keep each company's data separate.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
Information we collect
When you use atease.studio
- Forms (start a project, website check, contact): the details you type, such as your name, email, phone, business and website. Form submissions are stored by our host (Netlify) and emailed to us through our email provider (Resend).
- Booking: if you book a call, Calendly collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy.
- Website check: the website address you enter, which we test using public tools such as Google PageSpeed.
When you create an AtEase account
- Account details: your name, email, company name, address and phone, and what kind of business you run.
- Sign-in: you can sign in with an emailed link or password, or with Google. If you use Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile photo, and use them only to create and sign you into your account.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We collect Texas sales tax where it applies.
Information you put into AtEase
- Your customer data: contacts, companies, notes, deals, tasks and lists you import (for example a sphere or past-client list). This is your data. We store and process it only to provide AtEase to you, and it is isolated to your company's account.
- Feedback: anything you send through the in-app feedback form.
Public records we show
Some AtEase products display information from public records, such as county property records, public business filings, licenses and building permits. We exclude records that Texas law makes confidential. If you believe a record about you is shown in error, contact us.
Mail and QR codes
When an AtEase customer approves a postcard or letter, our print partner (PostGrid) receives the recipient's name and mailing address to print and mail it. Each piece may carry a QR code. When someone scans it, we record the scan and match it to that mailing so the sender knows it was received. Recipients can choose "stop" on that page to stop future mail from that sender through AtEase, and we honor it right away.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and support AtEase and the products you use.
- To send sign-in links, receipts, notifications and reports you've asked for.
- To respond to your requests and, if you contacted us about our services, to follow up.
- To improve AtEase, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Google user data
AtEase's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in data (name, email and profile photo) only to authenticate you and display your account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide AtEase, comply with law, or with your consent.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run AtEase, under their own privacy and security terms, and only as needed:
- Netlify: website and app hosting, forms and server functions.
- Supabase: database and sign-in (United States).
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: email delivery.
- PostGrid: printing and mailing postcards and letters.
- Calendly: call booking.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of AtEase or others, or as part of a business sale or merger (with notice to you). We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and customer data while your account is active. After you close your account or ask for deletion, we delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or security reasons. Form submissions on atease.studio are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices and rights
- Access, export and correct: account owners can export their data from AtEase or ask us for a copy.
- Delete: email evan@atease.studio from your account email to delete your account and data.
- Email: you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the email.
- Mail: anyone who receives AtEase-sent mail can choose "stop" on the QR page or contact us.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls that keep each company's data separate, and reputable providers for hosting, payments and sign-in. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.
Children
AtEase is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell account owners by email or in the app.
